We are a small island looking for a full time general laborer in our maintenance department, year round. It’s a very physical job, mostly outdoors. It includes equipment maintenance, lawn mowing, weed whacking, tractor mowing, fuel, propane and firewood deliveries, picking up island trash from houses twice a week in summer. There is no hard and fast job description as it could change day to day depending on circumstances, weather and emergencies. This position reports to the department manager and must be able to follow direction and work independently. 40 hrs/week Thursday-Monday June through October and Monday-Friday November through May includes a one bedroom apartment with heat, electricity, internet included. 401K, health insurance, dental insurance, vacation and sick days.
