Travel Pay: $2,080.00 Weekly (Taxable: $760.00 | Non-Taxable: $1,320.00)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a healthcare team in Alameda, CA. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic care and support patients in improving their daily living and functional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Conduct therapeutic activities to improve mobility and daily living skills
- Monitor patient progress and report updates to the Occupational Therapist
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques
- Ensure a safe and supportive treatment environment
Requirements:
- Active California COTA license/NBCOT certification
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Assignment Details:
- Schedule: 5x8 Day shifts
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (possible extension)
