Job Summary: Acts as a lead in the Food & Nutrition Department including making daily assignments, opening or closing the department, and problem solving when issues would arise. Ensure all hospital and departmental policies and protocols are followed by staff members.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensures all employees adhere to all department and hospital policies.
Over seeing that all employees take required breaks at the designated times.
Actively supports and participates in performance improvement activities and hospital /department committees.
Treats all information and data within the scope of the position with appropriate confidentiality and security.
Cooperates fully in all risk management activities and investigations.
Knowledgeable of, observes and complies with hospital safety policies, emergency procedures, and standard precautions.

Education Requirements and Other Requirements:
Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent
Certification/Licensure: Sanitation Certification Preferred
Experience Requirements: Prior food service experience required. One-year experience in quantity (batch cooking) food production preferred.
