General Foreman
A large Rhode Island based Site/Civil Construction company is looking to add to its Management Team! Our company specializes in all manner of site-work, from underground utilities, turf fields, foundations, parking lots, and landfills. We are looking for a General Foreman to coordinate daily activities on-site. The General Foreman works closely with the Superintendent and Clients on-site daily to provide an on-time and on-budget Project.
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Manage daily activities of crews on-site.
· Coordinate with Superintendent and General Contractors on-site.
· Provide lay-out for crews.
· Fill out daily report logs.
· Fill out daily safety logs.
· Manage materials on-site to ensure crews have required material, and Superintendent is aware of upcoming activities.
· Coordinate with Head Mechanic on equipment repairs and services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Certifications:
· Proficient in plans and contract drawings.
· Trimble Earthworks GPS Systems.
· OSHA 30.
· Water Main installation, Sewer line installation, Drain-laying, and overall knowledge of underground utilities.
· Manage on-site Eart cuts and fills.
· Understanding of grades.
· Excellent Communication skills.
Experience:
· 10+ Years in the Site Civil Construction Industry
· High-School GED
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
