Healthcare company seeking a FT Medical Billing/Coding Specialist. Completion of a 1 year medical coding/billing program preferred. Candidate must have strong knowledge in working collections and insurance claim denials. Must have experience with Microsoft Word/Excel. Must also be able to multi-task within multiple systems simultaneously. Job duties include: Working with the Aging report and follow-up collections. Medicare, Medicaid, & Insurance/3rd party billing. Insurance Verification, Denial management. Must be a strong communicator will be making phone calls to patients, facilities, insurance companies etc. Must be able to pass a drug test & criminal background check.
