Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals in need. As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, providing emotional support, and ensuring the overall well-being of our clients. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care in various settings, including nursing homes, hospice care, home health, and memory care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare meals and snacks for clients, as well as assist with feeding and hydration.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Encourage socialization and engagement through activities and outings.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed.
- Document care plans and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance knowledge and skills.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, if applicable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks and activities that require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
Skills:
- Ability to prepare meals and snacks according to client preferences and dietary needs.
- Strong caregiving and support skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
