G&S Foods is a central PA based snack food company operating in Hanover, PA. We are a co-manufacturer of sweet and salty snacks from popcorn to chocolate-covered pretzels. We are hiring for a Sanitation Laborers. Be a part of our continued Growth & Success at G&S Foods!
Our Sanitation Laborer is a reliable team member responsible for
- Cleaning and sanitizing the facility, equipment and machinery to prepare for production and ensure food safety
- Properly dispose of waste and perform proper chemical application for cleaning and sanitizing
- Properly sanitize equipment, follow proper allergen sanitizing of equipment and follow allergen testing procedures
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Previous sanitation experience preferred
- Must be able to work in varied temperatures (hot or cold)
- Work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use of hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds
- Infrequently lift and / or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds
- Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
Shift Times:
- 3rd shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00pm-5:00am
