The Compliance Assistant supports the company's compliance functions by assisting with regulatory research, policy updates, compliance training, and various administrative activities. Candidates with direct compliance experience are welcome to apply; however, individuals with general office administrative experience who have a strong interest in learning compliance and are eager to grow in the field will also be considered.

Support the development and delivery of internal compliance training programs for the company and its U.S. group companies.

Assist with updating and maintaining internal compliance policies and procedures.

Respond to routine compliance-related inquiries from internal departments and affiliated companies.

Coordinate communications with outside legal counsel and regulatory authorities.

Monitor, collect, and distribute information regarding new or revised laws and regulations related to compliance.

Support the implementation of compliance initiatives across the company's U.S. group companies.

Assist with compliance audits conducted by the corporate headquarters.

Provide general administrative support to the Compliance team, including coordinating the handling of internal whistleblower reports with outside legal counsel.

Approximately 1–3 years of professional office or administrative experience preferred.

Direct compliance experience is not required.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Strong willingness to learn and develop knowledge in corporate compliance.

Ability to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English.

Familiarity with Japanese business culture and business practices is highly preferred, as this role frequently communicates with the headquarters in Japan and Japanese expatriate employees in the U.S.

Experience working in a Japanese or multinational corporate environment is a plus.
