Lotus Bridal is a family owned bridal boutique serving New York brides since 2005. With a reputation for delivering an unforgettable gown shopping experience, we pride ourselves on being a go to destination for New York brides. We’re currently seeking a Bridal Stylist / Sales Consultant to join our Lotus family to help our beautiful brides find their dream dress!
Who We're Looking For
You're a people person who thrives in a fast paced, emotional, and rewarding environment. You love connecting with others, have an eye for fashion, and are eager to help brides find the most important outfit they’ll ever wear. Prior bridal or sales experience is a plus but if you have the right personality, drive, and energy, we’re happy to train you!
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to brides and their guests throughout the entire gown shopping journey
- Guide brides from first appointment to gown pickup—including sales, fittings, and follow ups
- Offer style guidance and product knowledge on gowns, fabrics, accessories, and customization options
- Build rapport and trust to create an emotional, memorable experience for each bride
- Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing displays and stocking new arrivals to maintain an inviting store environment.
- Manage appointment scheduling and transactions accurately using our POS (Point of Sale) system, including cash handling and processing payments.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or scheduling appointments.
Experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—ability to build instant connections
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a bridal boutique or luxury retail environment.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions.
- Confidence in selling, upselling, and completing the sale
- Team oriented mindset and willingness to pitch in where needed
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- A passion for bridal, fashion, or luxury retail
- Ability to work weekends
Schedule & Pay
- Position requires 3–5 full days per week (weekends required)
- Starting hourly pay: $17–$19/hour base + commission + bonuses
- Once trained and taking regular appointments, average earnings can range from $20–$35+/hour
