As our Assistant General Manager, you'll partner with the General Manager to lead a high-performing team, create memorable guest experiences, and run a café as if it were your own business. This isn't a clipboard-and-office job. You'll spend your time on the floor—coaching, developing people, solving problems, and making the café better every day.

What Success Looks Like
Our Assistant General Managers:
- Build teams that people love working on.
- Know their guests by name and create loyal regulars.
- Lead confidently during busy rushes.
- Develop future supervisors and General Managers.
- Make smart business decisions using labor, sales, and inventory data.
- Raise the standard every day rather than simply maintaining it.
Your ResponsibilitiesLead Exceptional People
- Coach and develop supervisors and hourly team members.
- Foster a culture built on accountability, respect, and teamwork.
- Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent.
- Celebrate wins and provide meaningful coaching every day.
Deliver Outstanding Hospitality
- Ensure every guest leaves wanting to return.
- Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Lead by example during peak business hours.
Own the Business
- Execute daily operations with excellence.
- Manage labor, food cost, and inventory.
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
- Analyze performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Run the café in the General Manager's absence.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of restaurant, café, or hospitality leadership experience
- A proven history of developing people and building strong teams
- High emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational and decision-making abilities
- A sense of ownership—you treat the business like it's yours
- A desire to grow into a General Manager role
Experience in coffee, bakery, fast casual, or full-service restaurants is a plus—but leadership, hospitality, and a growth mindset matter most.
