Position Title: Delivery Driver
Reports To: Store Manager / Shift Leader
Location: Portage, MI
Employment Type: Hourly / Part-Time or Full-Time
Position Summary:
As a Delivery Driver for Jet’s Pizza, you are the face of the brand to customers outside the store. You are responsible for delivering orders quickly, accurately, and safely, while providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pizzas and other menu items to customers in a timely, safe, and courteous manner.
- Ensure delivery orders are accurate and meet Jet’s Pizza quality standards.
- Follow all traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Collect payment and provide correct change when needed.
- Represent Jet’s Pizza with a friendly, professional attitude at all times.
- Assist with in-store tasks when not on delivery (e.g., answering phones, prepping food, cleaning).
- Keep vehicle clean and maintained.
- Maintain knowledge of the delivery area and use GPS or maps as needed.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable vehicle with valid insurance and registration.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Able to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system (training provided).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and move quickly in and out of the vehicle.
