Duties
- Lead or support framing and decking operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and masonry work as needed to support structural integrity
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Manage heavy lifting tasks using appropriate techniques or equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless workflow and adherence to project timelines
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction site activities including framing, decking, roofing, siding, and restoration projects
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution
- Strong knowledge of metal building erection, metal stud framing, masonry, plastering, and stucco application
- Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete work processes
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes safely on-site
- Familiarity with hand tools (hammers, saws), power tools (drills, saws), welding equipment and schematics interpretation
- Experience in carpentry disciplines including woodworking, trim carpentry, remodeling or renovation projects
- Knowledge of construction management practices to oversee project progress effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of quality and safety compliance
