The Partnerships Strategic Planning team is a highly dynamic group focused on tracking, evaluating, and driving strategic decisions for the global Disney Direct-to-Consumer portfolio. We also ensure smooth operations and implementation of strategic initiatives through coordination with our content and business partners across the organization. Working closely with service leads and the Head of Content Planning & Partnerships, DTC—and in lockstep with content acquisition and operational teams—we aggregate and elevate perspectives on high‑priority strategic questions and scope and execute analyses to inform goal setting. The team collaborates cross‑functionally across a wide range of partner teams to design and optimize workflows, with an eye on content‑specific needs both domestically and internationally to drive overall DTC growth.
We are seeking a highly motivated Partnerships Strategic Planning Analyst who will be an exceptional addition to our team. This role focuses on synthesizing data from business partners to solve key business problems, assist with process documentation and improvement, and help develop reporting and materials for a cohesive DTC portfolio narrative.
The role requires attention to detail, a strong sense of accountability, high EQ, and collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in management consulting, investment banking, or experience working in a strategy or business planning role within the media & entertainment and/or direct-to-consumer industry, loves to solve problems, and is intellectually curious.
Portfolio Analysis, Strategy & Insights
Develop a strong working knowledge of Hulu’s content portfolio, content operations, and partner requirements; support cross-platform audits and pre-launch quality checks to ensure title readiness, brand standards, and viewer experience.
Use analytics tools and dashboards to track performance of digital products, content, and initiatives, and summarize insights for stakeholders.
Maintain and update internal databases related to the licensed content portfolio, including deal terms, performance metrics, and operational documentation to support the Licensing COE.
Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support reviews of operating performance, selected content deals, industry trends, and portfolio reporting.
Operational Reviews & Evaluations
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, California is $87,100.00 - $116,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
