Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8-hour shift
Shift Options: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM (includes lunch break)

Position Summary
We are looking for a warm, attentive, and enthusiastic Infant Room Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of caring for children from their earliest days. This position focuses on providing consistent, loving care to infants in a structured and nurturing environment. You’ll work to prioritize responsive caregiving, encourage daily routines, and give meaningful interaction throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and attentive care for infants including routines of feeding, diapering, naps, and play
- Engage in floor-level play, tummy time, singing, reading, and sensory exploration
- Maintain a clean, calm, and appropriately organized classroom environment
- Build warm and trusting relationships with infants and their families
- Observe and communicate developmental milestones to the Admin Team
- Communicate with families using our Brightwheel app for daily updates
- Demonstrate professional, ethical, and dependable behavior
- Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain open communication
- Assist with maintaining school policies, routines, and classroom procedures
- Coordinate with assistant teachers, when applicable
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Preschool Director
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Required: Experience caring for infants or toddlers in a licensed setting
- Ability to sit on the floor and rise frequently, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Kind and nurturing personality with a heart for young children
- Comfort with repetitive care routines and high physical engagement
- Team-player mindset and willingness to learn from others
- Basic understanding of infant development and responsive care practices
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to work full time consistently
