Job Summary
Join our compassionate team as a PRN Caregiver, providing vital support to individuals in need of personalized care in a welcoming community setting. This immediate-start position offers flexible hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am to 2pm. As a Caregiver, you will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health, and creating a safe, nurturing environment. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Support medication administration following proper procedures and HIPAA confidentiality standards
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of resident living areas, including cleaning personal spaces and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment
- Follow individualized care plans diligently while providing compassionate social interaction and emotional support
Skills
- Proven experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care environments
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and dementia or Alzheimer’s care practices
- Ability to perform CPR and first aid confidently; certification preferred but not required
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers safely
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is advantageous
