We are hiring a busser/runner for our busy weekend services. The hours are Saturdays 6pm-10pm and Sundays 9am-3pm.
This job requires a person who can work well in a team, move carefully through a crowded dining room, and carry plates to tables as well as to the kitchen. Ability to stay calm and cool under pressure is required. Our bussers/runners learn not only table names, but also the names and description of every dish that they deliver. Our dinner menu changes weekly, and our ideal candidate is passionate about food and able to answer customer questions about dishes. All members of our front-of-house team are responsible for making sure the dining room stays clean and welcoming for our guests.
This job is crucial to the functionality of our business, and we are looking for someone who will honor the commitment they make to this position by showing up for shifts on time. Bussers/runners stay at each shift until closing checklists--including cleaning and silverware rolling-- are complete. Bussers/runners participate in our tip share.
