At Enviro-Clean we’re looking for a dependable, people-focused Custodial Trainer/Recruiting Assistant to train and support janitorial team members while assisting with recruiting and hiring needs as needed.

Shift: 1st Shift
Type: Full-Time
Pay: $21.50/hour
Location: Walled Lake & Surrounding Areas
Key Responsibilities - Primary focus: Employee Training & Development
- Train new and existing janitorial employees on cleaning procedures, equipment, safety, and company expectations.
- Provide coaching, follow-up, and support to help employees succeed.
- Use cleaning equipment such as backpack vacuums and floor scrubbers (training provided)
- Step in as recruiting/hiring support during periods of increased hiring needs.
- Partner with Operations to identify training and staffing needs.
- Travel between locations as needed for training, recruiting, and employee support (sub cleaning).
- Sub Cleaning: Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash removal, and restroom care as needed
What We're Looking For
- Janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or facilities experience.
- Training, coaching, supervisory, recruiting, or hiring experience.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
- Professional and approachable with the ability to motivate others.
- Previous maintenance, handyman, or related experience preferred, but not required.
- Bilingual candidates preferred; however, bilingual skills are not a disqualifying factor.
- Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation (paid mileage and drive time)
