Registered Nurse (RN) – Detox / Withdrawal Management
Rose City Detox – Portland, Oregon
Rose City Detox is seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our ASAM Level 3.7-WM medically monitored inpatient withdrawal management facility in Portland, Oregon.
This is a great opportunity to provide essential nursing support to individuals going through detox and early recovery in a supportive residential setting.
Schedule: Full-time and Part-time positions available
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vital signs, withdrawal monitoring using CIWA and COWS scales, and medication administration
- Maintain accurate MAR (Medication Administration Record) logs and EMR documentation
- Support co-workers and the Nurse Director in delivering safe detox-related nursing care
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and report to Nurse Director, Licensed Medical Provider or Medical Director
- Provide direct nursing support during the detoxification process
- Assist with patient education on withdrawal symptoms and medications
- Respond to medical emergencies as directed
- Ensure compliance with Oregon State Board of Nursing standards and facility protocols
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Oregon State Board of Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in behavioral health, detox, or withdrawal management preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced 24/7 residential detox environment
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
