Job Title: Metal Fabricator
Job Description:
As a member of the FFP team, the metal fabricator reports directly to the Labor Foreman and will perform various welding functions within the fabrication department. The position requires one to cut, fit, and weld medium fabrication materials such as carbon steel and stainless-steel applications. Metal fabricator will be expected to read and layout by drawing specifications. Full time position in a clean professional working environment
- “Hands –On” Metal Fabricator position.
- FFP will provide training in certain unknown areas of work
- Must be able to read and/or interpret measurements and convert decimals
- Must be proficient at layout and fitting materials by drawing specs
- Expected to drive forklift and at times lift heavy loads
- Must work be able to work in a team-based environment
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Fabrication experience is expected examples are fitting, welding, cutting, or metal grinding

Work hours are 6:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Thursday (4-10 Schedule)
- Experience in an industrial environment recommended
- Must have steel toe boots + PPE
- Must have high school diploma/GED
- Must have valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
- Pay range $20 to $30 depending on experience and aptitude
