Working as a Neurointerventional Radiologic Technologist in this facility, you’ll collaborate with top-tier physicians and multidisciplinary teams, broadening your skills in a high-acuity environment. Gain hands-on exposure with the latest technology in Angio IR and Neuro IR services, from intracranial angiography to advanced embolizations and clot retrievals. Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week: 7:30am–6:00pm
- On-call duty every other weekend
Key Qualifications:
- ARRT(R) certification
- New York State Radiologic Technologist License
- Valid BLS certification
- Proven experience in IR and neurointerventional radiology
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive technical support for IR and neurointerventional procedures, including discograms, aspirations, ablations, and angiography
- Assist with both sterile and non-sterile clinical tasks in neurointerventional cases such as tumor or spinal lesion embolization
- Operate advanced imaging equipment following established safety and imaging protocols
- Uphold rigorous safety and radiation standards
- Offer instruction to students and residents, acting as preceptor as needed
- Conduct regular equipment quality assurance checks and help manage supply inventory
- Utilize hospital information systems for scheduling and accurate coding
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all hospital policies
