Title: Spanish Teacher
Location: Nashville, TN 37214
Duration: Through 02/26/2027 (Possibility of Extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Spanish instruction aligned with Tennessee State Standards.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials based on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and school staff.
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school activities.
- Support students with visual impairments and additional learning needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Education from an accredited college or university.
- Valid Tennessee teaching license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Spanish teaching endorsement.
- Willingness to obtain a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) endorsement within five years.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.
