Responsibilities:
- Construct and assemble cabinets, furniture, and other wooden structures according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
- Measure, cut, shape, and smooth wood using power tools and hand tools
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and knobs
- Apply finishes to cabinets and furniture, such as varnish or paint
- Repair or restore cabinets and furniture as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the client's satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
