Mid-Florida Pathology is seeking a Board-Certified Dermatopathologist to join our fast-growing Dermatopathology department. The selected candidate will work alongside an experienced team of highly qualified and nationally known physicians in a supportive and congenial atmosphere. You will be expected to contribute to our reputation for service, specialization, and expertise. Our mission is to provide accurate, clear, and prompt diagnoses to all our clients and their patients. REQUIREMENTS TO CANDIDATE:
- Pathologist with at least 2 years of post-residency Dermatopathology experience;
- Ability to communicate with colleges and leadership;
- Required: Board Certified in Dermatopathology;
- Required: Current valid unrestricted medical license to practice in Florida.
- Experience working with high case volume.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide accurate and timely diagnosis of the presence and stage of disease from a tissue specimen, utilizing appropriate laboratory procedures. Confers with other physicians as needed;
- Takes the initiative to improve quality in the workplace;
- Provides advice to referring physicians regarding the clinical significance of laboratory findings;
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information concerning patients, physicians, employees, clients, vendors, and the Company;
- Complies with all State, Federal, and professional regulations as well as department rules, policies, and procedural manuals;
