Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated AM and PM Cook to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking in a structured, high-volume environment and takes pride in providing healthy, delicious meals. The AM Cook will primarily work morning and afternoon shifts, typically between 4:30 AM – 12:30PM. The PM Cook will primarily work afternoon and evening shifts, typically between 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to set menus and dietary guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed
- Assist with inventory, food prep, and kitchen cleanup
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and management
- Support occasional special events or weekend meal prep if needed
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking experience in a commercial or institutional kitchen preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus)
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must pass a background check
