Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including drink service and food handling in a safe manner
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and service areas by bussing and resetting tables promptly
- Assist with food preparation, wine knowledge recommendations, and basic math calculations for bills or orders
- Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and food safety regulations at all times
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to foster a welcoming environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for processing transactions and billing purposes
- Culinary experience or food industry background is a plus but not required
- Commitment to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and restaurant revenue

Pay: $23.33 - $50.00 per hour
