Pay: $17.15 an hour
Schedule: 4:00am - 4:00pm (or when the route is complete)
Responsibilities:
- Carefully empty waste from bins into truck
- Locate customer bins
- Replace customer bins in proper location
- Support Crew Driver in servicing customers on assigned routes
- Proactively protect property of customers, community, crew, and self
- Assist Crew Driver in navigation and record-keeping
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior organized, clean, and sanitary
- Clean customer bins and provide supplies when necessary
- Communicate with customers, community members and team members courteously, respectfully, clearly and efficiently
Requirements:
- Completion of background check
- MUST have reliable transportation
- Ability to reliably meet the position’s schedule requirements (PUNCTUALITY and RELIABILITY are MUSTs)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds multiple times a day & get in/out of vehicle multiple times a day
- Waste management experience a plus; general labor experience
- Diligent adherence to safety standards/practices
- Ability to use navigation tools, including maps and GPS systems
- Collaboration/team skills
