Position: Physical Therapist (PT) / Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Description:
Physical therapy and Physical therapy assistance at Rise & Shine help support and provide services for children under 3 years of ages for in-home, community setting, and in group setting ( for PTA with an PT Supervisor overseeing them) to focus on gross motor; incorporating their priorities and concerns into the report; multidisciplinary evaluation of the child; family directed assessment showing the child’s strengths and weaknesses and identification of services appropriate to meet the child’s needs. Evaluation will include the client’s basic medical history, family information, and the milestones in each area of development.
Physical therapyists focuses on helping children with a groiss motor from developmental delay or disability to be as independent as possible in all areas of their lives. Delivering appropriate education services that improve their language skills, as well as, enhancing the child’s self-esteem and sense of accomplishment. Develop plans that outline goals and methods used and ensure the child’s advancement, as well as supporting the families
Requirement:
- License in PT/PTA
- Certificate required: First Aid and CPR
- Knowledge of special education and various disabilities
- Proficiency in writing and the ability to communicate clearly
- Knowledge and proficiency in MS Word
- Knowledge of Internet and email
