Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients in identifying and selecting the right automotive parts and accessories.
- Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting regular stock checks, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and invoicing.
- Maintain organized records using inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Microsoft Excel.
- Support automotive repair and service departments by preparing parts orders, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with dealership or workshop teams.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or scheduling appointments.
- Uphold safety standards through proper maintenance of tools and work areas while adhering to organizational procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, dealership environments, or automotive parts counter roles is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical details clearly; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service practices.
- Proficiency with inventory management tools such as CMMS or POS systems; experience with Microsoft Excel is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stock control and order fulfillment processes.
- Familiarity with retail math for pricing, discounts, and profit calculations; basic math skills are essential.
- Experience in negotiation and sales management to maximize customer satisfaction and sales performance.
- Valid communication skills including phone etiquette; ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
