Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Interior Finishes Estimator with expertise in Division 10 and Division 12 scopes, including bath accessories, closet systems, and window treatments. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in estimating specialty interior finishes for commercial projects. As a mid-size subcontractor, we value versatility, collaboration, and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for Division 10 and 12 scopes.
- Perform quantity take-offs from architectural drawings and specifications.
- Source and evaluate quotes from vendors and specialty product suppliers.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure estimates reflect actual site conditions.
- Develop and submit bid proposals with clear scope, exclusions, and allowances.
- Assist in pricing change orders and updating project budgets.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and correspondence.
- Track bid performance and follow up with clients to close opportunities.
- Stay current on product trends, pricing, and installation methods for bath accessories, closet systems, and window treatments.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on Division 10 and 12 finishes.
- Familiarity with products such as grab bars, toilet partitions, shelving systems, blinds, and drapery.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On Screen Take Off, Quick Bid, Excel).
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience working in a subcontractor environment is a plus.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
