Accounts Payable Specialist - Part Time, Temporary Position
Location: Haggin Oaks Golf Course, Sacramento, CA
Status: Hourly, Non-exempt
Hourly Rate: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour

Morton Golf LLC is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounting Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional who is proficient in Oracle NetSuite and is looking to join one of Northern California's premier golf and hospitality organizations.
This is a part-time temporary position that is available for 3-6 months with the opportunity for permanent employment based on business needs and individual performance.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently while processing vendor invoices accurately and efficiently with minimal training.
What You'll Do
Process vendor invoices and credit memos in Oracle NetSuite
Match vendor invoices to approved purchase orders and receiving documentation
Review invoices for proper approvals before processing
Reconcile vendor statements
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
Process vendor credits
Assist with weekly payment processing
Maintain accurate vendor records and supporting documentation
Support month-end Accounts Payable activities
Work closely with department managers and buyers to resolve purchasing issues
Required Qualifications
Important – Oracle NetSuite Experience Required
Applicants must have recent hands-on Oracle NetSuite Accounts Payable experience, including processing vendor bills, purchase orders, vendor credits, and other Accounts Payable transactions. The selected candidate is expected to become productive with minimal software training.
Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience
Recent hands-on Oracle NetSuite Accounts Payable experience
Experience processing invoices in a purchase order environment
Experience reconciling vendor statements
Experience working in a high-volume Accounts Payable department
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent organizational and communication skills
High attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Multi-location accounting experience
Hospitality, retail, golf, restaurant, or food & beverage industry experience
Experience processing electronic invoice workflows
Associate degree in Accounting or Business
Schedule
Part-Time Temporary
Approximately 32 hours per week
Additional hours may occasionally be required during month-end or periods of increased workload.
