Are you a compassionate, organized Registered Nurse looking to take the next step in your leadership career? We are seeking an experienced RN Evening Supervisor to lead our clinical team and ensure exceptional resident care during the evening shift in our skilled nursing facility.
Position Summary
The RN Evening Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift, providing clinical leadership, supporting nursing staff, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and promoting a positive, resident-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support licensed nurses and nursing assistants during the evening shift.
- Ensure high-quality resident care and timely response to resident needs.
- Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to nursing staff.
- Collaborate with physicians, department managers, residents, and families.
- Monitor staffing levels and assist with scheduling adjustments as needed.
- Respond to emergencies and serve as the clinical leader for the shift.
- Complete rounds to ensure quality care, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in admissions, discharges, and resident care planning as needed.
Qualifications
- Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting required.
- Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
- CPR certification required.
