Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as a Framing Carpenter, where you will play a vital role in shaping the foundation of exciting building projects. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various framing components including wood, metal studs, and structural supports using hand tools and power tools.
- Erect metal buildings and assist with steel framing projects by following schematics and blueprints accurately.
- Construct concrete forms and assist with rebar installation to prepare for pouring foundations and slabs.
- Perform roofing, siding, stucco, and trim carpentry tasks to enhance building exteriors and interiors.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation, material handling, and demolition activities.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise framing layouts and construction specifications are met.
- Assist with masonry work, plastering, restoration projects, and remodeling efforts as needed to support comprehensive construction goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site environments with a strong background in frame carpentry and metal stud framing.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and other construction machinery safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings essential for accurate project execution.
- Familiarity with concrete forming techniques, rebar installation, concrete finishing, roofing systems, siding installation, and stucco application.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience with welding, masonry work, plastering, trim carpentry, restoration projects, remodeling tasks, and working with schematics is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles to coordinate tasks effectively on-site.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety protocols and quality standards.
