At The Movement Doc of Texas, we work with athletes and active individuals who expect more than generic rehab and rushed treatment sessions. Our model is built around 1-on-1 treatment, performance-based rehab, manual therapy, movement analysis, strength & conditioning principles, and helping people return to the activities they care about feeling confident and capable.
We’re looking for a clinician who enjoys the process of solving movement problems, adapting in real-time, and working through the complexity that often comes w/ treating active populations and athletes. Someone who is thoughtful in their assessments, intentional in their treatment approach, and motivated to continually sharpen their clinical skillset.
The ideal candidate:
- Doctorate or Masters in Physical Therapy
- Strong manual therapy background
- Understanding of strength & conditioning and progressive loading principles
- Comfortable working w/ athletic and active populations
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Motivated to continue learning and developing clinically
- Values individualized care and quality treatment sessions
- Understands that active populations often require more than symptom management
Preferred qualifications:
- SCS, OCS, CSCS, residency-trained, fellowship-trained, or actively pursuing specialization
- Dry Needling Certified or interested in becoming certified
- Interest in sports rehab and performance-based care
