Position assists in the production of gelato (Italian ice cream) as well as the cleaning and maintenance of the production areas in our family run gelato shop. Heavy lifting is required. Duties will include production assistance (gelato and frozen treat making, preparation of ingredients), dish washing, sweeping, mopping, and equipment and other assorted cleaning. Opening set-up and closing cleanup are included in the duties depending on shift worked.
Riverside County Food Handler Card is required. A training and test voucher will be provided to you if you do not have a valid card. The training and test must be completed within two weeks of starting.
No previous experience required. Will train on the job.
Cross training with the front of the house position will be provided, as this position will be required to cover the front occasionally.

Pay: $19 to 20.5 per hour
