HTI is hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician for a well-established and growing company in the Greer, SC area. - Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician
- Location: Greer, SC
- Schedule: 1st shift Monday-Friday 8AM-430PM, (some OT required)
- Pay: $23+
You’ll play a key role in maintaining facility operations, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting overall safety:
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues using tools and diagnostic equipment
- Replace worn or defective parts and address system failures
- Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately
Facility Systems Support
- Install and maintain lighting, piping, wiring, compressors, and building components
- Assist with minor construction and facility improvement projects
- Monitor building systems for proper performance and efficiency
- Coordinate with vendors for specialized maintenance needs
Equipment & Safety
- Safely operate lifts, ladders, hoists, and shop equipment
- Follow all LOTO and safety procedures
- Identify and report hazards to maintain a safe work environment
Continuous Improvement
- Support ongoing maintenance and facility improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Assist with training updates and occasionally oversee project-based workers
We’re looking for a reliable, self-motivated technician with a strong maintenance background:
- 2–3+ years of experience in facility, warehouse, or industrial maintenance
- Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance systems
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking
- High school diploma or GED required (technical certification preferred)
