The Fast Food Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to company recipes and food safety standards. This position helps ensure food quality, speed of service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction while working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items according to company recipes and procedures.
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas.
- Follow all food safety and health regulations.
- Monitor product freshness and rotate inventory using proper food storage procedures.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties.
- Follow all company policies and safety guidelines.
