In this role, you will support the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas of the hotel meet the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning routines across all hotel areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house facilities.
- Oversee floor cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents, ensuring compliance with safety data sheets (SDS) and industry standards.
- Handle chemical agents safely, including proper storage, handling, and disposal, while maintaining detailed records of chemical use in accordance with safety protocols.
- Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of cleaning supplies and equipment to facilitate thorough cleaning operations without risking injury.
- Ensure all cleaning activities adhere to hotel emergency procedures and sanitation standards, maintaining a safe environment for staff and guests alike.
- Monitor the use of janitorial equipment like vacuums, floor buffers, and other industrial cleaning tools to optimize performance and longevity.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping needs and addressing any concerns professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles within hospitality environments.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, sanitation practices, and industrial cleaning processes.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment operation, chemical handling procedures, and safety data sheets (SDS).
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Previous experience with hotel housekeeping management or janitorial experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
