We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to protect our clients, property, and personnel at our site. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to security incidents. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where safety is the top priority, ensuring a secure atmosphere for all.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety on premises.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, documenting incidents accurately and thoroughly.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and staff courteously while maintaining security protocols.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age for Unarmed positions or 21 years of age for Armed roles.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Fluent in English with strong reading, writing, and speaking skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Valid Driver's License required
- OPOTA Certification preferred.
- Previous security experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
