This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, retail sales, and beverage preparation within a dynamic team. We make Bagels and Cheesesteaks. All Am hours as for now. We are looking for somebody that has completely open availability during the week when school starts. So this will need to be an adult that has graduated already and has reliable transportation that can wake up early. Hours of Operation are 6am-4pm.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
- Process cash and card transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and math calculations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment to meet food safety standards.
- Assist with food handling and food safety practices during food preparation and serving.
- Restock supplies regularly to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a friendly atmosphere.

- Mix Cream Cheeses
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing sales transactions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
