Auto Paint RI is under new leadership! We are looking to grow our team! If you are an experienced auto body painter who is team-driven and possesses self-reliance and the drive produce work through efficiency, we are looking for you!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
- Mix paints to match color specifications, or vehicles original colors.
- Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and tint coats.
- Utilize buffing and polishing techniques to achieve a flawless finish on painted surfaces.
- Perform detailing tasks such as cleaning, polishing, and finishing to enhance the vehicle’s overall appearance.
- Collaborate with others to assess vehicle condition and determine the best painting approach.
- Ensure all work complies with shop standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in auto body painting within a dealership or auto repair environment is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers, buffing machines, and other relevant equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Effective communication and time-management skills.
- A valid driver's license.
