Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks using specialized equipment for large-scale or heavy-duty areas.
- Maintain facilities by performing routine custodial tasks and minor maintenance repairs as needed.
- Support commercial cleaning projects by managing cleaning supplies inventory and ensuring proper storage and usage.
- Assist with residential painting projects when required, ensuring quality finishes and safety compliance.
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents and ensure a secure environment.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and commercial cleaning equipment.
- Experience with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate buffing machines, floor scrubbers, and other custodial tools effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in various environments.
