Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
- Design, implement, and supervise behavior intervention plans grounded in applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring measurable outcomes.
- Provide training and ongoing supervision to behavior technicians and support staff to ensure fidelity of interventions.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to promote consistency across environments and optimize client success.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations to safeguard client confidentiality.
- Participate in intake processes, patient assessments, and progress reviews to support comprehensive behavioral health services.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation practices, and medical records management.
- Ability to perform patient care activities including intake assessments and behavioral health evaluations.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and external providers.
