Job Overview
We are looking for a few great candidates that will be vital team members dedicated to transforming outdoor spaces into lush, vibrant landscapes! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial lawns through skilled landscaping, mowing, and garden care. Your hands-on work will contribute to creating beautiful, functional environments that clients love. Leadership roles available and we will promote the right candidate to crew leader and above.
Duties
- Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers to keep lawns tidy and healthy
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, mulching, and edging
- Use hand tools and power tools for tasks like digging, planting, and installing landscape features
- Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients
- Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting and repairing components to ensure proper watering schedules
- Assist with hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, and retaining walls
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating and troubleshooting lawn equipment and power tools
- Strong understanding of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques
- Experience with gardening, horticulture, and plant health management
- Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows effectively
- Familiarity with excavators or other construction machinery is a plus for larger landscaping projects
- Knowledge of tree trimming, landscape design principles, and hardscape installation methods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
- Valid driver's license is required
- Speaking Spanish is a plus
