Overview
This summer, join our vibrant caregiving team and make a real difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a valued team member, you will deliver essential care services that promote independence, safety, and well-being. This paid opportunity offers flexible scheduling and a chance to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment committed to your growth and fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Non- Medical in Home Health Care Support
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Support clients with medication reminders following care plans and HIPAA regulations
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster social engagement and reduce feelings of isolation
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents or changes in condition
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance (only when needed with certain clients)
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, home health agency, nursing home, or group home settings is required.
- Knowledge of patient observation, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly valued
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, HIPAA compliance training, and knowledge of vital signs is a PLUS!!
- Strong communication skills for working with clients, families, and few team members.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to make a positive impact and ENRICH THE LIVES OF OTHERS!
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required for community-based caregiving. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Required)

- Dementia care: 1 year (Required)
- Alzheimer's care: 1 year (Required)
- Bed Bound/Total Care: 1 year (Required)
- Caregiving: 2 years (Required)
