Tool & Die Maker - 1st Shift (Direct Hire)
Pay: $38.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

We are seeking experienced Tool & Die Makers to join our Toolroom on 1st shift. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a stable Monday-Friday schedule.
Responsibilities
- Build, repair, and maintain tooling, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and machine components.
- Troubleshoot and repair existing tooling to support production.
- Operate manual machining equipment including lathes, milling machines, grinders, boring machines, and other precision equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and sketches.
- Perform precision machining while maintaining close tolerances.
- Use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, verniers, and comparators.
- Perform bench work including fitting, grinding, polishing, welding, and soldering as needed.
- Operate presses to evaluate tooling and production issues.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirements.
- Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of Tool & Die Maker experience in a manufacturing environment (required).
- Completion of a Tool & Die apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
- CNC machining experience is preferred.
- Strong blueprint reading and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of quality and accuracy.
