Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and facilities equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, electrical work techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct welding tasks and mechanical repairs utilizing hand tools and mechanical knowledge to address equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain building interiors through painting, carpentry, and general facilities maintenance to uphold aesthetic standards.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics to diagnose complex system problems efficiently.
- Support plumbing system maintenance and repair tasks, including leak detection and pipe repairs.
- Lead or assist with maintenance painting projects while ensuring safety standards are met.
- Use electrical testing devices and hand tools to repair electrical equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist with HVAC system repair, including troubleshooting thermostats, filters, ducts, and ventilation components.
- Follow safety procedures diligently while working with electrical equipment, plumbing systems, or performing welding tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from building occupants or management.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role involving repair and operations (MRO).
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and HVAC system repair.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, PLCs (programmable logic controllers), and electrical equipment repair techniques.
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively including screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and ohmmeters.
- Experience working with building interior maintenance tasks such as painting and carpentry projects.
- Knowledge of plumbing system maintenance including leak detection and pipe repairs.
- Demonstrated leadership skills or ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and customer interactions.
