Job Overview
We are a growing commercial beekeeping operation seeking a hard working dependable Commercial Beekeeper to join our team. With thousands of hives across multiple sites, we provide pollination services and produce high quality honey for local and national markets.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain beehives throughout the season (feeding, inspections, treatments, splitting, etc.)
- Assist in honey extraction, processing, and packaging
- Prepare hives for pollination contracts and seasonal migration.
- Monitor hive health and apply integrated pest management practices.
- Operate trucks, forklifts, and beekeeping equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior beekeeping experience (commercial experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate)
- Physically fit and comfortable working long hours in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license (CDL a plus).
- Willingness to travel for pollination work (e.g., almonds, berries)
- Mechanic Experience Preferred
