Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to safety standards.
- Lead and motivate team members, providing training, coaching, and development to foster a high-performing staff.
- Oversee food preparation and food safety management, maintaining quality standards across all menu items.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Control inventory levels, monitor food production, and assist with food management to minimize waste and maximize profit.
- Handle customer service issues promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving complaints professionally.
- Assist with shift management, including scheduling staff, coordinating tasks, and maintaining smooth workflow during busy hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant environments or casual dining settings with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling is essential.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing hospitality teams, supervising staff, and conducting training sessions.
- Background in food industry management including inventory control, food safety management, and profit & loss analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and lead team development initiatives.
- Prior experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles is highly preferred; hospitality or hotel experience is a plus.
