Overview:
The La Quinta Inn & Suites Durango, CO is seeking an outgoing, personable, reliable and detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant. In this role, you will set the tone for our guests entire day by not only providing an excellent meal - but also giving them "service with a smile"! Once breakfast is over, you may also play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our common areas of the hotel. If this is you, we want to meet.
Primary Duties:
- Prepare, serve, replenish and clean up after our complimentary hot breakfast is complete.
- Interact with every guest who joins us for breakfast and inquire about their stay and how satisfied they are with their accommodations.
- Inspect and report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department
- Deliver excellent customer service and greet guests with a smile
- Follow established procedures for all duties, including handling lost and found items
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Previous experience as a hotel breakfast attendant is a plus!
- Professionalism with speed and attention to detail
- Must be willing and able to work early mornings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
