Jefferson is seeking a Contract Specialist to support a federal agency.
This role will be fully remote. This position requires that applicants reside in the United States and have legal authorization to work in the U.S. Applicants must maintain U.S. residency for the duration of their employment.
This role is contingent upon contract award to Jefferson. The annual salary range is negotiable. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Responsibilities
Support cradle-to-grave federal contracting activities, including solicitation, award, administration, and closeout of a variety of contract types.
Review procurement requisitions, statements of work (SOWs), and acquisition requirements to develop compliant solicitation packages.
Conduct market research and issue Requests for Information (RFIs) to support acquisition planning and strategy development.
Develop and assemble Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs) under the guidance of the Contracting Officer (CO), and post solicitations through appropriate government systems.
Serve as the primary coordinator for Technical Evaluation Committees (TECs).
Respond to offeror questions and prepare solicitation amendments.
Review proposals and quotes for compliance with solicitation requirements.
Perform cost and price analyses.
Prepare award documentation and contract award packages.
Support post-award administration activities, including modifications and COR guidance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of five (5) years of federal acquisition and contracting experience, including cradle-to-grave contracting.
FAC-C certification, DAWIA certification, or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of FAR principles and federal procurement processes.
Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting CDC, HHS, or other federal civilian agencies.
Experience using Integrated Contracts Expert (ICE).
Experience with contract writing systems such as PRISM.
Experience supporting source selection and technical evaluation processes.
